Back in 2019, we first visited Oia Spirit Boutique Residences when they first opened. I was in utter shock that the location was at the middle of the beautiful blue domes.
Fast forward 2 years, we recently had the chance to go back and stay at their largest suite. It is actually a 2 bedroom suite with a plunge pool and I thought I would share my experience. If you enjoy reading, keep on reading! but if you’re more of a visual person, I’ve included a full walkthrough of our suite in this VIDEO belOW
Also, if you’re looking for more general information about the property, I cover more of that in my review from our 2019 stay and I highly recommend checking it out.
The photos above are from the main Suite. The main suite has everything you need from a living room, chair, small kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom. What I loved above the main Suite is that the room is very cave like but it still holds functionality and is perfect if you’re staying with one other person.
This was the view from our window in the main suite. As you can see, it frames the church beautifully because it’s actually situated on the bottom of all 5 of the cave homes. What I loved above our location is that it’s a great photo spot. Secret tip: you can actually hop over to the other side from the window. We managed to get some beautiful shots because of our location
There’s a second room?!
Yup! It’s actually completely separate from the main Suite and we didn’t even know we had this room at first. While it does not have a living room and kitchenette, it does have a bed and bathroom which is perfect if you’re bringing along children.
BREAKFAST
The breakfast here every morning was amazing. When we went in 2019, the owners would deliver fresh baked goods every morning but that has changed a bit. Now, the breakfast is catered a local cafe called Skiza (which is another one of my favorite spots in Santorini!)
CAVE POOL
The cave pool is shared among the 5 suites and everyone has access to this area. Not only is it beautiful during the day but at night, it actually lights up!
Just as I thought Oia Spirit could not get any better, they blow it out of the park once again. I would say they are definitely much more refined compared to 2 years ago. The details that they have added these past 2 years have been very noticeable. Small things such as upgrading the shampoo or adding night light to the cave pool have all made the experience that much better.
Overall, staying at Oia Spirit feels like staying at a home away from home. It just feels very clean, hospitable, and genuine.
If you’re in Oia, I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not regret it!
