1. Download the free Lightroom mobile app from your phones app store. Once downloaded, create an Adobe account if you donât already have one, which is simple, quick and free.
2. I highly recommend using a desktop computer for this step. On your computer, download and save the zip file you just purchased onto your desktop.Â
3. Once downloaded, click the folder and send all of the preset files (Mobile Preset Folder) to your phone. If you are using a Mac, simply airdrop it to yourself. Otherwise you can email them to yourself. Keep in mind that all the mobile files will be in DNG format so once youâve sent them to your, phone they will appear as blank white photos in your camera roll (Do Not Panic – This is completely normal). Recheck to make sure you have sent all of the preset files contained in the folder to your camera roll.
4. Next, open your Lightroom Mobile App and create and name a new folder, which you can do clicking the + icon on the top right hand side. Name the folder whatever you’d like (ex. “Greece Collection” or “Beach Tropics Collection”). Click the folder and now create a new album and name it âPresetsâ. Now click the 3 dots on the âPresetâ folder and click âAdd Photosâ. Then click âFrom Camera Rollâ and select all of the DNG preset files and import them to the album.
5. Next, open the âPresetsâ folder and click on the first preset image. Now click the 3 dots on the top right corner and select âCreate Presetâ. Under âPreset Nameâ type the name of the specific preset that corresponds and press save on the top right. For example, âBlue Dome Brunchtime” or “Cliffs of Oia”. Go ahead and do this process for each individual preset until they are all loaded and named accordingly.
6. Yay – That’s it! now that you’ve successfully imported your mobile presets, you can now import your own photos into Lightroom mobile and begin using these!
*PLEASE NOTE*Â Not all photos are the same and the presets will not work the same on every photo. You may need to adjust the brightness, shadows, temperature or skin colors to suit your liking. Also, note that these presets were adjusted to be optimized specifically for editing images on your mobile device, therefore they are slightly different than the desktop versions.Â
